Sally Hansen's Satin Glam Collection Swatches

Today I would like to share these new polishes from Sally Hansen's Satin Glam collection.  I was attracted to this collection because of the matte satin finishes that they have. Not to mention that there is a lot of shimmer swimming in these little bottles.  And what lady doesn't enjoy a little shimmer from time to time right?!

First up is Crystalline and shes a beauty.  A satin shimmer white that would be perfect for any formal occasion. This is three thin coats with no top coat.

Next up is Metal Iced.  A blueish gray satin shimmer. This is two coats with no top coat.

Next is Go Gold.  A gold satin shimmer.  Two coats with no top coat.

This is Chic Pink and its my favorite out of the collection.  Two coats with no top coat.

Next is Sun Sheen.  This shimmer orange is definitely a good one for summertime. Two coats with no top coat.

Next is Teal Tulle.  My second favorite of the collection.  Two coats with no top coat.

Next up is Taffeta.  I used two coats with no top coat.

Last one of the collection is Silk Onyx.  Two coats with no top coat.

I enjoyed this collection.  The colors did not necessarily wow me, however the shimmer matte satin finish to them definitely did.

FingerPaints Rock My World 2014 Collection Swatches

During one of my many trips to Sally's Beauty Supply, I spotted a FingerPaints collection entitled Rock My World.  Since there was only four in the collection, I picked up all four.  Right off the bat I knew they were Metallic type polish but I had no idea....wait for it...that they were TEXTURED too.  Textured polish is my absolute favorite.  Lets take a look...

This is Stone Cold Pewter.  Its a light metallic green.  I only needed one coat to obtain full coverage.  No top coat was used. This one is my favorite out of the four.

..:::..

Next up is Pretty Tough Pink.  Its a metallic pink.  Again only needed one coat to obtain full coverage. No top coat used.

..:::..

Next is Rockin' Gunmetal.  Its a metallic silver and absolutely stunning.  My second favorite of the four.  Only needed one coat and no top coat was used.

..:::..

Lastly is Rock Hard Lilac.  A metallic purple or lilac if you prefer. Only needed one coat and used no top coat.

Overall, I was really impressed with this collection.  Not only because it was textured but also because of how well they applied.  One coat was all I needed and it applied very well.  If you are into textured and metallic polish, then I most definitely suggest you add these beauties to your collection!

Zoya Naturel: Odette, Rue, and Chantal Swatch and Review

I've been hearing a lot about the Zoya Naturel collection and I've been dying to get my hands on them.  I decided to pick up three and explore them for myself.  I must say I was not disappointed and I loved the way they looked against my skin tone.  Lets take a look...

This is Odette.  Shes a gorgeous orchid cream.  The formula was a little on the watery side.
This is two thin coats.  It dried relatively quick.

Next up is Rue! Rue reminds me of a extremely light pale purple blush.  This was also on the watery side.
This is two thin coats and this too dried fairly quick.

Lastly I have Chantal and this one was my favorite.  I love the way it looks against my skin tone. This one was not as watery as the others but not necessarily like Zoya's regular cream formulas.  This is two thin coats.

Overall, I really enjoyed these three polishes.  They were a bit watery then what I expected but two thin coats was all I needed to obtain fill coverage.  I loved the fact that they dried quickly making it a great go-to polish when your in a hurry.
